Bhutan Photo Tour, Land of the Thunder Dragon, Kingdom of Happiness. The Buddhist Kingdom of Bhutan lies along the lofty ridges of the eastern Himalayas, bordered by China (Tibet) to the north and northwest, and by the Indian states in the south and west respectively. Opened for tourism in 1974, Bhutan is perhaps the world’s most exclusive tourist destination. The country still retains all the charm of the old world, and travelers experience the full glory of this ancient land as embodied in the monastic fortresses, ancient temples, monasteries and stupas which dot the countryside, prayer flags fluttering above farmhouses and on the hillsides, lush forests, rushing glacial rivers, and – perhaps most important of all – the warm smiles and genuine friendliness of the people.

Tim looks forward to sharing his love for this amazing place; its Landscape, culture, nature, people during this photographic journey.
During this tour, we will be having small groups with 2 instructors on 6-10 people making a ratio of 1:4 or 1:5. This helps us to have enough time for every individual. During the day, there will be photographic opportunities where we teach all the basics of photography and the advanced art of seeing the image, composition, etc. While the evening activities include reviews and discussions. On photo tours, I try my best to help the participants see the beautiful nature of the environment while learning about the culture and way of life of the people. I also provide photo instructions which can be adjusted depending on your needs. I look forward to seeing you on our tour.
